Aloha

Aloha and welcome to my blog! I’m Beigie Lam from Honolulu, Hawaii and currently a first-year at Lehigh University in the Engineering and Arts & Sciences Colleges. I plan to study Computer Engineering with concentrations in International Relations and Chinese. When I’m not in class or neck deep in work, I like to train my body at taekwondo practice, read some novels, catch up on my dramas, and watch cat videos on Youtube.

This is a blog detailing my experience and journey as a Lehigh Valley Social Impact Fellow. LVSIF is a program out of the Office of Creative Inquiry which focuses on finding sustainable solutions to social and economic issues in the Lehigh Valley area. It is run by Vice Provost and Professor Khanjan Mehta; Fellows from a diverse background of identities and disciplines collaborate in teams to conduct research and develop solutions through projects that will have real social impact beyond the classroom.

The project that I am a part of focuses on furthering education via the rapidly developing technology of virtual reality.  Mahalo for visiting my blog and following along as I share my experiences with you!
