Logic’s “Supermarket” is the worst album I’ve heard this year
There’s an appalling lack of competence on this record. Lyrically, in the conviction that following a girl to the supermarket constitutes romance; sonically, in the conviction that the Fray’s nonexistent comeback record might lend itself to emulation; and thematically, in the conviction that a rapper who used to employ emotion to hallmark effect might now possess the depth of a kiddie pool. The worst part is that I truly believe Logic might think he’s really onto something here. Avoid for your own benefit.
