My primary research interest is stellar behavior and how stars vary or change over time. My dissertation research is focused on the asteroseismology of evolved stars in eclipsing binary systems and obtaining precise stellar parameters. I have previously worked on changing-inclination eclipsing binary systems, and during my undergraduate research, I studied chromospheric stellar activity in Sun-like stars, which led to the discovery of a star entering a Maunder Minimum.
A short article on my first-author paper, ‘Five Decades of Chromospheric Activity in 59 Sun-like Stars and New Maunder Minimum Candidate HD 166620,’ is available here. Several other articles about this research are listed under Press.
