Mike wins “best talk” awards
A belated congratulations to Mike for receiving the Best Graduate Student Talk award at the 2017 Lehigh Valley Ecology and Evolution Symposium at DeSales University…AND for receiving 3rd Best Graduate Student Talk at the Evolution in Philadelphia Conference at the University of Pennsylvania, both in April.
Congratulations to Joe, Olivia, and Ryan!
Today at Lehigh’s 149th Commencement, Rice Lab seniors Joe Skibbens and Olivia Mobarakai graduated from Lehigh. Joe earned a BA in Biology and a BA in International Relations, and Olivia earned a BS in Biology. They are moving on to employment and graduate study. We are also saying goodbye to Ryan Herbert, BS ’16, who spent his Presidential Scholar year in the lab, and will be starting a Ph.D. program at Princeton University in the fall. We are very proud of all of you, and will miss you!
Congratulations, Alex!
Alex was awarded an Animal Behavior Society Student Research Grant to support his research on the chemical ecology of hybridizing songbirds! Way to go, Alex!
