7 Websites for Images
Finding appropriate images for student projects can be a challenge. Blogger, Kathleen Morris, shares six different images resources in her blog post on free images, copyright, and creative commons for students and teachers. Morris describes the importance of teaching students how to review image usage rights before sending them to a website for images.

- NounProject – This website hosts over a million icons that students can use for projects. Within the website, you can change the color of the image, background, and shape of the background. While it is a paid subscription, there is an education discount. If you create your own graphic organizers or resources for students, this is an amazing tool that will streamline your creation process.
Morris created this graphic to highlight the differences between the free image websites she suggests. This is helpful as you make decisions about the types of images you want your students to access based on their age.
