I will be traveling to Delhi to interview esteemed Indian author, Mahesh Rao, author of Polite Society, a brilliant adaptation of Austen’s Emma set in Delhi.

I will be traveling to Dubai to interview Laleen Sukhera, editor of Austenistan, a collection of seven stories set in contemporary Pakistan inspired by Jane Austen’s work.

I will be traveling to Sydney to participate in the Jane Austen Society of Australia meeting, at which I will interview several participants, including JASA president, Susannah Fullerton and featured speaker, Dr. Penny Gay.

The University of Southampton will be hosting a three-day conference to highlight the global influence of Austen and her writings. I will be speaking at this event and conducting podcast and film interviews for the Jane Austen and the Future of the Humanities project.
