I recently started watching the Showtime series Billions. I had heard of it but didn’t really get into it until my friends had really talked it up. As a finance major, the plot was interesting. Its about a man who runs a major hedge-fund and gets into a whole bunch of trouble from people trying to bring his empire down. I was never super into stocks or learning about all the different ways of analyzing them. But after one episode, I was hooked. The show has so much more drama and excitement to it than just saying what stocks to buy or sell. The show really goes in depth on every single little factor that can affect stocks. It has made me become a lot more interested in learning how to analyze stocks and investments. It has comedy, suspense, and those moments where you have absolutely no idea what’s going to happen. Anyone who was a fan of the movie The Wolf of Wall Street would love this show and I highly recommend that you try it out. Every episode is on Showtime.
