Hello,

My name is Fabiana Rojas Esquivel and I am a freshman at Lehigh University. I am an international student from Costa Rica. I decided to choose the social issue of the refugee crisis since I am passionate to learn about that certain issue. I have been working with refugees since I was 16 years old. Before coming to Lehigh, I volunteered at a refugee residence in Costa Rica which provided a house and basic resources for refugees escaping from gang violence from different countries in Latin America.

I am majoring in International Relations since I want to continue working with refugees and alleviating this global issue. This blog will consist on raising awareness of the issue though the knowledge I have acquired through my research. I hope you enjoy!
