Professor Gill - he is a supportive mentor who encourages and promotes the growth of all of us as his lab students. He makes me believe I am able to produce work that will be of good use to the world. Like the dreams I want to pursue are achievable with a little hard work and patience.

Mentor comments:
Mentoring means sharing my own love of learning and teaching students tools that they can use to discover new knowledge and to thereby have some positive effect on others' lives. Learning, teaching, and having a positive effect on others are the most meaningful things I can think of!
