Both Ahmed and Roberto have been incredibly influential in my life. Not only have they demonstrated how to conduct effective research, but they have also taught me a lot about life. I am deeply grateful for all of the time and energy they have spent over the last several years to help me become a better scientist and person. They are not only excellent mentors and role models but also dear friends. Simply, I cannot imagine my life without them.
