Drs. Kim and Hochbein provide mentorship which has not only developed my skills as an educational researcher, but also my confidence as an emerging scholar. Dr. Kim made the daunting idea of my first independent research project an exciting and manageable task. Dr. Hochbein provides thorough feedback to ensure my success as a teaching assistant and productive struggles to help me navigate my dissertation process. I am so grateful for the ways they have impacted my Lehigh journey!

I consider advising and mentoring students one of the most important elements of my job. To me, the job of mentoring is providing guidance, advice, and support to the next generation of leaders.
