Emily Sharp

Comments from nominator:
I just began my graduate program at Lehigh U. this fall, and I have had the pleasure of taking SPED 332. Dr. Sharp has shared valuable insight, is intentional about connecting with her students, and has personally been a light to me during this unprecedented time. Dr. Sharp constantly check's in with her students offering guidance, support, and encouragement. I have learned so much from her already and would love to continue to be mentored by her outside of this class. I happily nominate Dr. Sharp for the Mentorship Appreciation Celebration.
Mentor comments:
Mentoring is a relationship of mutual respect and trust that helps mentees see their greater potential. My career has been profoundly influenced by those who mentored me, and I owe them a debt of gratitude. I know we have experienced the teacher's awe observing students' growing understanding and skills. Of all of these, there is nothing that gives me more satisfaction as an educator than to have a student consider me a role model and mentor.
