Joining this program as an older student was intimidating, but Mike helped me adjust and connect with other students. Following one Zoom meeting I had with him, he let another student in so we could say hello and connect, "like passing in the hall," he said. This type of care and concern he shows for his students to feel connected to one another is not something you see every day, and it should be celebrated!
