Hello! Our names are Lucy Zhou and Mericel Mirabal, and we’re students at Lehigh University. As part of Lehigh’s Mountaintop Initiative, we are working on a project about inclusive economies and businesses. We want to be able to measure inclusivity, characterize what it means to be inclusive and analyze the systemic issues that cause non inclusive or discriminatory businesses or work environments. This blog will follow our own journey discovering inclusive businesses and meeting the people behind them. We hope to start a campaign to change the current culture of discrimination and alter people’s perceptions to create a more diverse and welcoming society of businesses and economies.
