Carbon Sequestration

Carbon Sequestration: This investigation follows up and builds on some material introduced in the Trees and Ecological Services investigation. Students explore the role that natural sequestration processes play as part of an ecosystem and the impact that human carbon generation has on carbon sequestration. This is an entirely indoor activity and mentors will assist with the web interface as well as explaining how sequestration works and explore human carbon generation and the environment. This activity is run twice: once with each of two different classes. Implementation dates are given below.
