Congratulations on your admission to Lehigh University! we are looking forward to welcoming you to Lehigh and our community. We are sure you will have a wonderful experience here. We all know that moving to a new place might be difficult, to assist you some pointers about transportation from airport, housing and living in Bethlehem are provided here.

Transportations From the airport:

The 3 closest international airports to Bethlehem are: Newark Airport, JFK Airport and Philadelphia Airport.

We also have one domestic airport, ABE. You take flight from any of the airports above to ABE and after that you can get to the campus with a short cab ride.

But sometimes getting a flight to ABE can get very expensive in this situation you can get a bus from any of the 3 major airports above to get to Bethlehem.

From JFK and Newark, you can use Transbridge buses:

If Coming from Philadelphia airport you can use the Biber bus: https://webstore.biebertourways.com

All of the above buses will drop you off in South Bethlehem bus terminal which is just a few minutes walk from the main campus

 

Housing:

One of the biggest challenges for everyone is finding a house! Fortunately, Lehigh provides housing for graduate students. From our experiences, these apartments are not only affordable but also very convenient and safe. The only downfall is the fact that they are limited and they are in high demand and you have to apply for them through the lottery.
