They Called Us Enemy chronicles Takei’s childhood in Japanese-American internment camps in the 1940s.

Lehigh Libraries are excited to introduce a new resource, ComicsPlus by LibraryPass, a digital graphic novel and comics platform available for reading on your desktop or via mobile app.  ComicsPlus features thousands of titles, from manga classics like Osamu’s Tezuka’s Astro Boy to contemporary bestsellers like George Takei’s They Called Us Enemy. There is also a wealth of comics adapted from the universes of beloved movies, television shows, and novels including Stranger Things, Star Wars, American Gods, and even Pride & Prejudice.

To create your own account and access the ComicsPlus library, visit Lehigh’s LibraryPass site here.  Select “Sign Up Now!” to create your account with your email and password of choice.

Once your account is created, you can access the library via a computer or via the LibraryPass app (available on Apple and Google Play) on a mobile device —  you just have to login with your account first. Once logged in, search the library, begin reading immediately, or add books to your digital shelf for later. ComicsPlus will keep your last page read marked so you can resume a book at a later time. Happy reading!
