The three main actors in my GSIF conceptual framework are Lehigh professors, Lehigh students, and the partners we’ve established in Sierra Leone. Together, we make up the little girl in the image who is pulling the lever. All three groups must work together to be able to pull the lever up and down, not individually. The actual machine that draws out water makes up the resources, ideas, and innovations that the actors must utilize and execute in order to produce impact, which in this case, is the water. The resources include things like the CHW network, tools to build a mushroom shelter, and the bakery at World Hope Makeni. Ideas and innovations are the projects themselves which the actors must turn into a reality: impact.
