In the beginning of the semester, we were each assigned an electric car to research and use for design inspiration, taking key elements of the vehicle and incorporating it into our own designs. After disassembling an existing shoe and studying it’s anatomy, this shoe was modeled in Fusion 360 to appear like a functional piece of footwear. The design is not only intended for a speculated consumer of the Lightyear, but also embodies the overall design and structure of the car.
