Bucket Stool

For this project, students were required to create the seat of a stool by pouring concrete three inches into the bottom of a bucket and using this process to make legs out of any material, as long as the final product was ~17 inches.

I wanted to approach the bucket stool from an artistic/conceptual perspective. I began by tying yarn, string, and tinsel around a wire ring, which afterwards I inserted into the wet concrete along with the four metal rods that constitute the legs.
