I am an Assistant Professor of Psychology at Lehigh University and received my PhD from UC San Diego. My research focuses on how infants and children understand their physical and social world—both separately and in tandem. As the PI of the Little Learners Lab, I’m committed to creating a research environment where early researchers can learn, grow, and thrive. Outside the lab, I’m usually reading fiction, at a trivia night, or making elaborate playlists I’ll never share with anyone.

I graduated from the University of California, San Diego with a B.S. in Clinical Psychology. While an undergraduate, I worked as an RA in the UCSD SoCal Lab and focused on projects studying infants’ expectations for emotional responses following goal directed actions. In my spare time, I love to read and spend time with friends and family!

I’m a Psychology major with a minor in Women and Children’s Maternal Health, and I’m part of Lehigh’s 4+1 Master’s in Education program. I’m interested in how young children experience and adapt to learning environments and hope to pursue a career in school psychology to continue working with children in schools. In my free time, you’ll find me with my friends, playing the French horn, at belly dance practice, or making jewelry.

I am a junior majoring in Psychology with minors in Health, Medicine, and Society, as well as Earth and Environmental Science. I believe there is so much we can learn from children, and I am excited to contribute to research on young minds through the Little Learners Lab. Outside the lab, I am a member of the Lehigh Division I Women’s Rowing Team and an undergraduate researcher in Lehigh’s Ocean Lab. In my free time, I enjoy spending time at the lake boating with friends.

Interested in Joining the Lab?

As a research assistant in the Little Learners Lab, you will have the opportunity to gain experience in conducting research with infants and children. Research assistants in the lab are responsible for recruiting participants, conducting experiments, and coding data. Research assistants are also expected to attend weekly lab meetings with the rest of the lab members.

For undergraduate students at Lehigh, we offer class credit for PSYC 161. For post-bac students and students outside Lehigh, we are currently unable to offer paid positions, but may be able to offer volunteering opportunities.

Interested students can submit an application here.
