Dissertation advisor: Christopher Liang
Note to Christopher Liang:
"Dear Chris,
Thank you for all of your support and encouragement these past six years! I truly could not have made it to this moment without you. Your thoughtful advice, unrelenting confidence in my abilities, and true passion for the work that you do has inspired me both personally and professionally. I, like all of your other students, am lucky to have you in my corner, and the field of psychology is lucky to count you as one of it's members.
With sincere gratitude,
Christina "
Note from Christopher Liang:
Dr. Christina Pallotti comes from a loving, caring, and musical family. She is an apple that did not fall far from the tree. She is one of the strongest, brightest, hardworking, humble, and pleasant human beings a person will ever have the chance to meet. I count myself so lucky to have had the chance to work with Christina. In her research and practice she left an indelible mark. Christina worked incredibly hard in my lab, publishing several pieces in high impact outlets on gender and gender-based violence prevention, and provided mentoring to peers and younger students alike. More than just a researcher, Christina also is leaving her mark on the University's Office of Gender Based Violence Prevention through her volunteer work over four years. Christina, you are already missed on campus! I'd like to tell you to come back - and, perhaps you will - but, spread your gifts you must! You are a great clinician, a solid researcher, and an effective teacher. The path is yours to choose; you have the skills and temperament to do it all. Don't let anything get in your way!
