With the collected #metoo twitter data, we combined maps one and two to create this map. This map shows the connection between twitter users’ number of followers, represented by the heat map, and the number of retweets, represented by the circles. We gathered that there was some correlation between the two – areas with big cities like Chicago, New York, Miami, and Hollywood, tend to have both a large amount of users with many followers and retweets. To look more closely at the exact correlation between the number of followers and retweets within cities, we created another map dissecting New York City which can be found under the NYC tab of this website.
