Historic Bethlehem will serve as our backdrop for NAVSA Fall 2022. Originally founded in 1741 by members of the Moravian Church, Bethlehem today has six National Register Historic Districts and multiple historic sites and museums.
Dates and Times
- The first conference session will begin at 8:30 am on Thursday, September 29th at Hotel Bethlehem (a complimentary continental breakfast will be served at 8 AM).
- The last conference session will end at 8 PM on Saturday, October 1 at Lehigh University
- The Professionalization Workshop will run from 9 AM – 12 PM on Sunday, October 2.

We are hoping to arrange for shuttle bus service from Newark and Philadelphia airports at designated times. Please fill out the travel survey to help explore viable options for the possibility. Hotel Bethlehem is the conference hotel for NAVSA Fall 2022. To register at the Hotel Bethlehem, please call 1-888-231-9320 and ask for the NAVSA rate or the North American Victorian Studies Association Rate ($209).
We have reserved additional rooms at the Bethlehem Hyatt, a three-block walk from the Hotel Bethlehem. Please use this link to reserve a room at the Hyatt (the “G-LUNV” code is automatically inputted for you, for the $199 NAVSA rate). All reservations must be complete by August 15, 2022. You may also call 610.625.0500 option 3 for reservations or 800.233.1234 to you their reservations and ask for the G-LUNV rate.
There is an additional block of rooms at the Comfort Suites for $129, you must call (610) 882-9700 and ask for the NAVSA rate (1.1 miles from the conference hotel),

Remote Participation
We are planning for a limited number of slots for remote presentations in a hybrid setup at the local conference. When submitting your abstract to the portal an option for “remote presentation required” will be provided. If you have any questions regarding this hybrid option, please email the conference organizers.
