Ph.D. Student Position 

Full-Scholarship Ph.D. positions are available 

Multiple full-scholarship Ph.D. positions in Semiconductor and Photonics Research in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) at Lehigh University, with a start date in Fall 2023 or Spring 2024

The students will work on one or several of the following these areas:
1) Memory devices for neuromorphic computing and in-memory computing;
2) Photonic devices for optical interconnects;
3) High power and high frequency devices;
4) Light emitting diodes and photodetectors;
5) Organic electronics and optoelectronics.

Currently we have an opening on Nitride semiconductor material growth and device fabrication.

Qualifications

  • A BS degree or MS degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering, Material Science, Physics or a related field;
  • Strong motivation and interest in experimental research with theoretical analysis;
  • Strong prior research experience is preferred but not required.
