About Elisabeth Sollog

Elisabeth Sollog, a former ballerina, trained at the School of American Ballet. She was a first soloist with The Suzanne Farrell Ballet, the former resident ballet company of The Kennedy Center. She performed for 14 years, dancing principal roles in works by master choreographers George Balanchine, Jerome Robbins and Maurice Bejart. Ms. Sollog has taught all levels of ballet and has served as a faculty member of pre-professional training programs in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Her choreography has been performed by The New Jersey Civic Youth Ballet, The Pennsylvania Youth Ballet and at The University of the Performing Arts in Philadelphia. After retiring, Ms. Sollog came to Lehigh University to pursue dual degrees in Accounting and English. This project is the culmination of her undergraduate work with the Lehigh University English Department. She lives in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania with her husband and daughter.
