PROGRAM INFORMATION
This is a flexible term/short study research/seminar program for graduate students in the College of Education and throughout Lehigh University, who have a vested interest in comparative and international education as well as either global or European youth-related topics. Students participating in the Research/Seminar Exchange Program: Eberhard Karls Universität Tübingen will have the opportunity to work closely on research or course study (in English) with professors specializing in comparative education and social pedagogy. The research/seminar exchange may be used for academic credit with the prior agreement of the student’s academic advisor and/or program director. Selected students are responsible for all expenses, including their own round-trip airfare, passport (and visa, if required), vaccinations (if required), meals, and all personal expenses including independent travel.
APPLICATION CHECKLIST
Please provide the following components by MARCH 1, 2017, in order to complete your application for the TüLIP Research/Seminar Exchange Program at Eberhard Karls Universität Tübingen, Germany.
- Completed Program Application (including both information and short answers/essays), including, signed “Student Confirmation of Participation,” and signed “Student Understanding and Agreement”
- Unofficial Lehigh transcript showing all completed graduate coursework
- Written approval of academic advisor or program director (email copy is sufficient)
- At least one academic reference letter (preferably from a Lehigh professor)
The above application materials must be completed and submitted in hard copy or signed/scanned electronic copy to either Dr. Damaschke-Deitrick or Dr. Wiseman by the MARCH 1, 2017, deadline.
Accepted TüLIP applicants are required to provide the following within two weeks of acceptance notification.
- Passport copy
- Visa materials
