Dr. Umesh K. Mishra graduated from Lehigh in 1981 with a master’s degree in electrical engineering. He is currently a professor of electrical and computer engineering at the University of California at Santa Barbara. In 2009, Mishra was one of only 65 engineers elected to the National Academy of Engineering. Election to the NAE is one of the highest distinctions an engineer can obtain.
