Abby Bettenhausen: Dr. Jedlicka is a passionate and driven individual. She is always helping make the department and the college as a whole shine. She gives her time to help everyone individually while also working on fundamental improvements for the program. Dr. Jedlicka has guided me throughout my undergraduate experience, helping me improve my professionalism. Dr. Jedlicka has empowered me to continue working hard, she has helped me take a step back and look at the big picture, and she has encouraged me to challenge myself. When I panic about making a big life decision, Dr. Jedlicka knows the best way to advise me. Her interpersonal skills make it easy to connect with her and feel supported by her. Most importantly, watching Dr. Jedlicka do her job has made me aspire to be like her. I will stay determined and motivated because I know Dr. Jedlicka is doing the same.
