Zotero is an open source reference management application that allows you to import references automatically using a browser extension, organize references into collections, share collections with colleagues and research groups, produce bibliographies, and easily create in-text citations in Word and Google Docs. It is a tool that can make research management and writing more efficient.
In the latest release, Zotero 6, there are two exciting new features. The first is the ability to read and annotate PDFs in Zotero.
The second is a new Zotero iOS app you can use on an iPhone or iPad.
The Lehigh University Libraries are also providing researchers with unlimited storage in Zotero. This will allow researchers, either individually or as part of a research group, to store PDFs related to their research without worrying about running out of storage space. To enable your Zotero account for unlimited storage, make sure that your @lehigh.edu email address is associated with your account. You can check which email addresses are associated with your account, and add an additional email address, by going to https://www.zotero.org/settings/account and looking under “Manage Email Addresses.”
