The Lehigh University Libraries are celebrating Latinx Heritage Month, formally known as National Hispanic Heritage Month and celebrated September 15th through October 15th, by adding new ebook and audiobook titles to the Latinx Heritage Month collection on OverDrive. This collection highlights select works that celebrate stories of latinx heritage. The books often bring to the forefront discussions around, and tell stories involving, race, immigration, culture and identity. The authors have personal or family backgrounds from the United States and a host of other countries, like Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Cuba, the Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Guatemala, Mexico, Panama, Peru, Puerto Rico, as well as indigenous cultures.
