Julie Miwa, Ph.D. is an associate professor in the Biological Science Department at Lehigh University. She researches some of the genetic constraints on learning and behavioral optimization. While earning her Ph.D. at Rockefeller University she led a jazz quintet and performed around NYC. She currently plays saxophone in Lehigh Valley, NYC, and Los Angeles.
