Major/minor: Behavioral Neuroscience Major, Creative Writing Minor
At Lehigh, I participate in two Mountaintop Projects, NeuroSalon and Socializing Race in White European Children; conduct attention and memory-based research under Doctor Carlisle; volunteer as part of Lehigh’s Emergency Medical Services; and participate in various clubs, such as Colleges Against Cancer, Lehigh University’s American Medical Student Association chapter, Spectrum, and Lehigh Women’s Rugby.
In the future, I aspire to study medicine, focus my medical career on helping underserved populations and eventually publish a novel. Since my passions and aspirations involve both the sciences and the arts, the NeuroSlaon project excites me immensely. Throughout this project, I hope to help bridge the existing gap between the arts and sciences and communicate the ways in which the two are interconnected.
