What’s happening with Asa? For over forty years, the monumental portrait of Lehigh University founder Asa Packer has watched over students, faculty, staff, alumni, parents, and friends in the Asa Packer Dining Room at the University Center. As part of the Sesquicentennial celebration, Asa is getting a much deserved face lift. Although this beloved piece of Lehigh history will disappear from campus while the year-long process of cleaning and conservation is under way, rest assured he will be back looking better than ever.
