Artist/educator Barbara Kozero favors humorous and playful subject matter, often depicting animals in colorful, richly patterned ceramic surfaces.

“Humor, whether satirical or whimsical, is the underlying theme in my work.  I delight in rich and varied materials, and change my medium as the subject dictates.”

Kozero teaches at Moravian College and teaches art in the Bethlehem School District.  Her work has been widely exhibited nationally and includes brightly glazed earthenware and fibers.
