Farias-Nardi is a visual anthropologist who focuses on long term photographic documentary projects in Latin America and the Caribbean. His subjects include the economically and socially marginalized; workers coping with changes in the labor market; the Latin American response to free trade; and people who are vulnerable to natural disasters.
