Atlanta Public School (APS) high school student Titilayo Peters presents her capstone project on cellulose nanocrystals and semiconducting polymers after working with graduate student mentor Bailey Risteen in the lab for 7 weeks. Titilayo is part of the APS Gifted and Talented program, which facilitates the capstone course through GT’s Institute for Electronics and Nanotechnology (IEN).
Atlanta Science Festival
Graduate students in Georgia Tech’s Polymer Network (GTPN) run a booth at the annual Atlanta Science Festival where kids can learn how chemistry makes up all materials and even make a non-Newtonian fluid themselves!
