Nitzan Lebovic co-edited a special issue of the journal Political Theology, dedicated to “Prophetic Politics” and published “Walter Benjamin: To the Rhythm of Theological Concepts,” in The Journal for Cultural and Religious Theory (fall, 2020). He contributed a number of online articles and talks, among them “Whose Immunity? Three Comments about Surveillance in a Time of Pandemics,” in Monitor Racism 7 (July 3, 2020).

During the fall prof. Lebovic organized a special seminar and brown bag meeting with Prof. Martin Shuster (Goucher College) and co-organized the international “Celan at 100” with the Center for the Humanities at NYU and Comparative Literature at Stanford University. In December he was invited to a co-organized panel about the history and theory of Melancholy in NYU’s Center for the Humanities.
