Short Biography

Hua Tong received his Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering from Tsinghua University, China in 1998, Master’s degree in Electronics Engineering from Tsinghua University, China in 2001 and PhD degree in Electronics Engineering in 2010, respectively.

His research areas are related to thermoelectric studies and applications of III-Nitride alloys. His research works cover the material / device physics, MOVPE epitaxy and fabrication of semiconductor optoelectronics / thermoelectrics devices. His current research topics focus on fundamental studies of thermal and thermoelectric properties of III-Nitride materials, theoretical /computational simulations of III-Nitride semiconductor alloys and nanostructures, as well as fabrications of novel nitride-based thermoelectric devices. He has published more than 20 refereed journal and conference publications before his graduation.
