Torture of Edward II engraved on the comb
The material of the comb is not specified. The luster makes it look like metal but similar pieces are made of ivory. There a delicate gold painted details around the figures. Edward II is rumored to have died from having a hot poker stuck in his butt, although there is no evidence supporting this assumption.
