On June 22, 2018, WFMZ 69 News reported on the installation of the Broad St. parklet, which occurred that very morning. The video news segment, “New parklet installed in Bethlehem for socialization” offers a brief overview of the parklets and our associated urban development study:

The parklet is a miniature public park designed to fit into a parking space along the street with extra seating so people can comfortably socialize.

The students say they’re studying how it affects urban development.
