Sickle Cell Carers Awareness Network (SCCAN)
The Sickle Cell Carers Awareness Network is an organization of dedicated workers promoting awareness, treatment, and prevention of SCD. Additionally, they work to provide support for patients, offer some diagnostic abilities, and place emphasis on supporting the carers of SCD patients, such as the parents of sickle cell children. SCCAN’s work is unparalleled in the Kono region.
